Golf assessment

Move better. Play better. Enjoy your golf.

Golf is a technical sport, but your ability to swing comfortably and consistently is also influenced by strength, mobility, balance and how your body moves. Our Golf Assessment looks at the physical side of your game and identifies areas that may be limiting your performance or contributing to pain.

What we assess

  • Spinal and hip mobility

  • Shoulder and upper-limb mobility

  • Strength and stability

  • Balance and control

  • Movement patterns relevant to the golf swing

  • Any pain or physical limitation affecting your game

Who is a Golf Assessment for?

  • Golfers who experience pain during or after playing
  • Golfers who feel restricted in their swing
  • Players returning to golf after injury
  • Golfers who want to improve their physical capacity for the game
  • Players who want to understand whether strength, mobility or movement is affecting their swing

Your personalised plan

Following your assessment, we will explain what we find and identify the areas that are most relevant to you. Your programme may include mobility work, strength and conditioning, movement exercises and strategies to help you manage pain or physical limitations.

The goal is not to change your golf swing for the sake of it. It is to help your body move well enough to support the swing you want to make and keep you playing.

Whether you are trying to get back on the course after an injury or simply want to get more from your game, a Golf Assessment can give you a clearer understanding of the physical side of your golf.
